Hi! My name is Caitlin Feikema, and I am a graphic designer and photographer based in the Minneapolis area. In 2019 I graduated from the Minnesota State University, Mankato with a BFA in Graphic Design. Throughout my years at MNSU, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects ranging from web design to branding, but I found my niche in typography. I find the process of print, layout, and editorial design soothing, and I am fascinated with the power that great typography can have on a project.
I broadened my studies in school by choosing a second concentration in photography, as well. I primarily shoot in a studio setting, as I enjoy playing around with lighting to create interesting shapes on my subjects for a more dynamic photograph.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outside. I like to take my daughter and my dog on hikes, but also enjoy staying in to watch scary movies and enjoy some good food.
